Outside the documents and the records

Of the pages read, the only Yukon record is one question-and-advice exchange on a 2004 Yukon, with no repair outcome reported. The shop work records are on a 2004 Escalade and the Hummer H2 (model year not given), not on the Yukon or Yukon XL.

  • Sky Auto writes that on a Hummer H2 whose speedometer and fuel gauge were faulty the motors fitted carried the pre-countermeasure part number, and says such motors can, it seems, also affect the circuit board.   • Hot Wired writes that on a Hummer H2 whose motors had already been replaced and whose gauges read normally, a fault inside the meter unit was the cause of a parasitic drain that flattened the battery, and gives 173,800 yen including tax for a new unit with the odometer set.
