    MY 2004 GMC YUKON XL SPEEDOMETER STOPPED WORKING. IT WAS STUCK AT 10MPH FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. IT WENT BACK DOWN TO ZERO BUT WOULD NOT REGISTER PROPERLY AFTER THAT. IT IS PRESENTLY STUCK AT 120MPH EVEN WHEN THE CAR IS OFF. I DID CONTACT

    Speedometer failure at 71,200 miles

    2004 GMC YUKON XL 1500

    AT 71,200 MILES THE SPEEDOMETER ON MY YUKON XL WENT OUT. I CALLED THE LOCAL GMC DEALER REGARDING ISSUE. I WAS ADVISED THAT IF I HAD SERVICED MY VEHICLE WITH THEM THEY COULD HAVE POSSIBLY MADE AN EXCEPTION. I WAS GIVEN THE 1800# TO CALL.

    2 INCIDENTS. 1) ENTIRE INSTRUMENT PANEL FAILED WHILE DRIVING. VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF, RESTARTED AND THE PROBLEM WAS TEMPORARILY RESOLVED. 2) WHILE DRIVING THE SPEEDOMETER NEEDLE FAILED. SAME CORRECTIVE MEASURES TAKE, AND PROBLEM WAS TEMP
