Poor radio reception from a loose radio antenna mast

What to do

  1. Since April 2001 an orange or black plastic wrench has been attached to the antenna mast; it is provided to attach the mast properly to the antenna base during new vehicle prep.
  2. Replacement wrenches are available only with new antenna mast assemblies.

  • The wrench is then to be placed in the glove box for the owner's later use.
  • The wrench is made of plastic to avoid damage to the finish on the antenna mast.
