TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 GMC YUKON. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKES FAILED TO ENGAGE WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. AFTER INSPECTING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE BRAKE FLUID WAS LEAKING. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE LINES WERE CORRODED AND FRACTURED DUE TO DEFECTIVE METAL. AS A RESULT, THE BRAKE LINES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000. UPDATED 01/15/15*LJ THE BRAKE LINES ROTTED OUT AND CAUSED FLUID TO LEAK, WHICH IN TURN CAUSED THE BRAKES TO FAIL. UPDATED 03/03/15*JB
