1. GDS 2は、もともとTech 2が対応していた車両のVINを解読しないため、手動で選択しなければならない。

   Since GDS 2 will not decode the VIN of a vehicle originally supported by the Tech 2, a manual selection must be performed.

2. Additional Optionsを選び、次にOnStar Canada GSMを選ぶ。

• GSMに更新した車両では、Telematics Communication Interface Control Module（TCICM、OnStarモジュール）との診断機通信にGDS 2を使わなければならない。

  When performing scan tool communications on GSM-upgraded vehicles, the GDS 2 scan must be used for the Telematics Communication Interface Control Module (TCICM), or OnStar® Module.
