What to do

  1. The recalled part numbers are 515020, 515021, 515025, 515053, 515054, 515059 and 515060.

  3. If the paint mark is not present, remove the wheel and the brake rotor and clean rust from the hub assembly face to check for the date code stamping.
  4. If a round yellow sticker is present on the box label, the part is good.
  5. Federal-Mogul notifies customers and replaces the hub assembly free of charge.
  6. The hub assemblies were manufactured for aftermarket use; owners of these parts should have them removed and replaced as soon as possible.

Caution: The recall pertains only to replacement National and Carquest hub assemblies and has no relation to original equipment on GM or Ford vehicles.
