Possible causes

The documents say what to doOnly records name itThe size of a node, the width of a link and the numbers are records matching this search, not likelihoods.

Candidate cause (the documents say what to do)

Speedometer needle appears inaccurate (specification +/- 2 MPH)

A customer may comment that the speedometer needle appears inaccurate.

The stepper motor will electrically operate the needle, and there may be some variation in accuracy.

What to do

  1. The needle accuracy specification is +/- 2 MPH (= 3.22 km/h) at any given speed when looking straight at the needle.
  2. Digital readouts such as the "Digital Speedometer" on the DIC read the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) directly and are much more accurate.

Caution: Tire size, tread life and inflation may cause some variation in the readings.
