Remote keyless entry and front passenger door window, lock, mirror inoperative (reprogram the Passenger Door Module)
The Door Lock and Side Window Switch contains a microprocessor called the Passenger Door Module (PDM); the condition and the repair procedure involve the PDM.
What to do
- Vehicles built before 01/03: refer to Bulletin 03-08-52-001C.
- Vehicles built during 01/03: refer to Customer Satisfaction Bulletin 03-011.
- Vehicles built 02/03 or later: refer to the published Service Information for the symptom the customer experiences.
- Instead of replacing the Door Lock and Side Window Switch, the PDM can now be refreshed and reprogrammed with the Tech 2.
- Re-flash the passenger door module.
Caution: The Tech 2 must contain software 23.001 (CD 3) or newer; if it does not, download this software before proceeding.
